Dehva Don is a Jamaican native who was born in the parish of St Ann in the Cascade district. From beating on the school desk to freestyling with friends, Dehvah began developing his musical talent from an early age.
Devah was raised by his mom and grandmother in an unstable environment, moving back and forth from the countryside of St Ann and St Catherine to some of the most hostile inner-city slums of Kingston, Jamaica. The knowledge accumulated from these environments and the lessons learned from these experiences has forced Devah to develop a tough mental attitude towards living and a no-nonsense approach to life.
Devah stated that the inner-city lifestyle forces you to grow tough and adapt a bad-boy persona and an aggressive approach toward living. According to the artist, the inner-city lifestyle can be compared to urban warfare. It takes you out of your comfort zone and forces you into a mental state of survival mode, the mindset of fight or flight, and having first-hand experiences and account of this type of levity and lifestyle compels him to tell these stories and share his point of view through his music
Devah also stated that country life is the best when it comes to freedom of mind, joy, and happiness. The town is pretty and full of vibes, but country life is sweet and clean. When I want sweetness, I go to the countryside, take in nature’s peaceful sounds and enjoy the simplicity of life.
To be honest, country life compels me to write and sing songs of peace, love, and conscious messages. After championing the underground dance scene, Dehva strengthens his talent and shares his artistry and stories through music. 

2023 is starting great for Dehvah Don as he introduces himself to mainstream reggae with his new singles " So Young" a love story, and “Gangsta Love”, on the VIP Level Ent label.
